Ar. Wong Lot Yee

Born in Kuala Lumpur in 1986, Ar. Wong Lot Yee obtained her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Architecture with Honours from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi in 2009.

After graduating, she joined Keat Hiew Architect until 2012, where she gained experience specializing in designing Mydin Hypermarkets across Malaysia.

In 2014, she completed her post-graduate Bachelor of Architecture with Honours from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi and subsequently joined DEKODA.

During her time at DEKODA, she oversaw projects of various scales, ranging from residential and office renovations to office tower projects.

Her architectural philosophy emphasizes adaptability and practicality while maintaining creativity. By exploring fresh ideas and diverse approaches, she aims to meet the needs of all users in both practical and imaginative ways. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in creating spaces that can evolve with their users while remaining efficient and user-friendly.

Ar. Wong Lot Yee also values diversity and innovation as crucial elements in designing sustainable, inspiring, and functional spaces that benefit everyone.

In 2023, she obtained her LAM Professional Architect qualification and was featured in PAM's publication of 40under40 Emerging Malaysian Architects in the same year.

Ar. Wong Lot Yee is a director of DEKODA Architects Sdn. Bhd. since 2024.
